Metcalf & Sons is a family business owned and operated by
​Dale Metcalf Sr. in Porter, Maine. Dale has over 20 years of experience in logging business. They are also privileged to have their sons who are working alongside them.

We are highly skilled to offer an exceptional service. Due to the hazardous conditions that can occur on logging sites, safety is the utmost priority for us. Second is our commitment to excellence in the quality of work that we provide. Our goal is to help the customer manage their timber stand to reach its optimum potential and to receive the maximum value for their investment.

We can help determine the acceptable amount of thinning, as well as identify and protect the trees that are located around streams and wetlands. We are also able to assist in Stump Grinding, Brush Clearing and Trucking .
